  • Evaluations for ART/IVF (egg, sperm, or embryo donation recipients)
  • Bariatric surgery evaluations
  • Supervision/Consultation for colleagues and students

Dr. Wright DOES NOT treat patients with the following primary issues (i.e., the reason you are seeking treatment)

Should these issues be your primary reason for seeking treatment, Dr. Wright will refer you to her affiliate office, Mind and Body Counseling Associates, for a qualified therapist to provide these psychological services:

  • History of attempted suicide or are currently/actively suicidal (thoughts/plans)*
  • Are diagnosed with a severe disabling disorder, such as:
    • Bi-Polar Disorder
    • Schizophrenia or Schizoaffective Disorder
  • Are in need of a psychological evaluation for mental, custody, or surrogacy
  • Chronic pain (case by case or MD referral)
  • An active eating disorder (Anorexia or Bulimia)
  • Have gambling or substance abuse/addiction issues
  • Teens or children - no one under the age of 21 - even if the doctor has seen them in the past
  • Are currently in ANY legal litigation or intend to become involved in litigation where your attorney has suggested/instructed that you obtain psychological treatment in an effort to support your case

NOTE: Dr. Wright is unable to monitor crisis calls 24/7. Severe cases require backup on-call availability, which is not available in this practice. If current patients have a crisis after hours and Dr. Wright is unavailable, they are directed to call the crisis line.
